Job Description
The Programmer Analyst will develop and implement high-quality data management software solutions for MarketProminence. In this role, you will collaborate with development leads, business partners, and the infrastructure team to design and deliver solutions to fulfill our client's requirements and meet their business goals. You'll use Oracle PL/SQL and Python and also work on data engineering problems and build a file manipulation and data processing engine. There will be opportunities to work on challenging and innovative projects, using the latest technology stacks within the AWS and OCI environments. A sound working understanding of IT concepts and the IT design & delivery life cycle is essential, as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities :
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, build, document, and test solutions for data interchange and business process automation.
  • Analyzing user requirements and translating them into efficient and effective database solutions.
  • Enhancing file manipulation and data processing engine using Python, YAML, and various AWS and OCI services.
  • Designing, coding, testing, and debugging complex database programs using Oracle PL/SQL.
  • Writing clean and reusable code that can be easily maintained and scaled.
  • Developing and maintaining Oracle database objects such as tables, views, procedures, and functions.
  • Optimizing database performance by creating indexes, analyzing query execution plans, and implementing performance tuning techniques.
  • Participating in code reviews, ensuring code quality, and identifying areas for improvement to implement practical solutions.
  • Troubleshooting system problems/issues and looking for solution improvements.
  • Developing technical documents to accurately represent solution design and code.
Experience Requirement:
  • 3-5 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL and Python development.
  • Hands-on experience with data and workflow management applications, file manipulations, scripting languages
  • Proven experience in Python and shell scripting.
  • Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design appropriate database solutions
  • Ability to research and solve problems independently.
  • General IT knowledge (applications development, testing, deployment, continuous integration, documentation, standards, best practices, hardware.)
  • Familiarity with software development and collaboration tools such as Git, TFS, Jira, Confluence
  • Familiarity with software administration preferably on AWS, OCI, or another cloud environment.
Education Requirement:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but will consider a combination of experience and education
  • Understanding of Network concepts and security.
Additional Requirements:
  • Ability to work on Eastern Time Zone (EST).
  • DBA and DevOps experience a plus.
  • Familiarity with C#, .Net, Angular is a plus.
  • Some familiarity with government health programs, especially Medicare/Medicaid enrollment, billing, and capitation is a plus.
